No, this is a reprint of the prequel mini-TPB. I bought it when it came out, and never got around to reading it. So I'm planning to pick these up and not strain my aging eyes... _________________ September 17, 1984. MTME Part I. The world changed forever.

I wasn't planning on getting the singles after getting the tpb. But some of the pages were tough to figure out what was going on. So I'm picking up the singles and the larger format is much better. |

I'm going to get these because I am a collector. The more comics I have in my comic box, the better it'll stand up. _________________ Print me! Print me! Print me!

I always did like the large print better than the Prime's small print. It helps me see all the little details. For me, it was never tough to figure out what was going on in the Prime comic. The whole graphic novel is about one day's events. _________________ Print me! Print me! Print me!

I loved the comic. It wasn't too hard to get, the audience it was aimed at... kids.... got it just fine. My wrecklets liked it.
It made me fall in love with Cliffjumper and Arcee. Which means when I saw the show and the outcome of Cliffjumper, I was so much more "OH NOES!" because of what I read. (So, well played Hasbro.)
I liked the art on both #1 and #2 wasn't too bad... in parts.
This is where I think Dalhouse was amazingly great. It worked for the style perfectly. I think he does great on the highly contrast and inked styles. If Hasbro does more of these comics, I would love to see more in the issue #1 style any day! I liked how Su did it and I love how Dalhouse colored it.
Glad I picked this up back in October? Sept? Whenever the digest version came out.

I like the Animated style of the Prime comic and I hope the show will eventually become a hand drawn cartoon. It would be a lot better than the sub-par CGI we see on Prime right now. _________________ Print me! Print me! Print me!

Really? I was impressed with most of it except the human kids. The bots seem to look really well done to me. _________________ Permission to reprint anytime anyplace.

That actually REALLY annoyed me.
It's why I so famously hate character deaths. Somebody gets built up with great writing and a glimpse is shown of what a fantastic character they can become, and the adventures you're going to see them have, and then... they get wasted.
And 'wasted' is the operative word. Because that character's potential is immediately snuffed out. The investment I made in the character is a reader is wasted. Plot possibilities are thrown out of the window.
Of course, there's a possibility that Cliffy's in-show demise is temporary, but having done some research into the show, it doesn't look like it. I am disappointed. _________________ Check out my page on DA http://hde2009.deviantart.com/

The humans would look better if they were drawn in a cartoon style. A character like Miko would definitely benefit from being drawn in an Animated style. _________________ Print me! Print me! Print me!
