On kind of a seperate, but similar note, I just watched Constantine again over the weekend. I thought it was a pretty fun movie.
Other than the fact that he didn't have a British accent and it was set in LA - was the character of Constantine really different than how Reeves played him?
I never really read the Hellblazer comics.
IMDB factoid - apparently the original script had a British lead character, but the script was basically unsellable in the US that way so they had to change him to an American to get US production studios to even make it. _________________ For reviews of stuff and nonsense.

Ok I watched X-Men first class last night. Yupp that was a good movie... Nice way to pull the X-Men franchise off that sinking ship. Good thing the non U.S. market supported it and made it a success...
Hopefully with DVD and Blue Ray it makes up for the lack luster US support.
Now I wouldnt mind a sequal to that line up... maybe set in the 70's.... and maybe only a Wolverine Cameo in that.... as well...
Bring on the Gambit Movie...

I vote yes for the gambit movie as well .
First class was in my top 3 for the summer .I was not a huge fan of some of the other xmen films , 2 being the best until first class . The dircetor of first class also did stardust and kick ass both great films. realy hoping the rest of the first class movies hold up. |

A live action New Mutants film would get me into the theater. |

Yuss!
Mmmm... wisecracky. Also, huzzah for more Hawkeye!
Hoping it's not just Loki as the sole bad guy, though; that would be rather unbalanced. Wrecking Crew would give 'em a couple of people to punch. _________________ You exist because we allow it. You will end because we demand it.

I'm hoping Loki's role in Avengers is similar to that in Thor: scheming, but not quite on the bad side. I hope he's got some more cunning twists up his sleeve... _________________

| I went to see the movie The Mighty Macs yesterday. Based on the true story of Immaculata College, the first ever women's national basketball champion. |
