Neurowing's Theme for March:

Provide a comic book cover for the first issue of this series -Transformers: SkyMaster!

A small troop of Autobots and Decepticons find themselves having to adapt (reformat) to a "skyworld" planet. Floating cloud cities, humanoid races and giant dragons...

The 'stranded Cybertronians' that you can use some / all of on your cover:

Autobot troops consists of:
Fortress Maximus
Devcon
Throttlebots (Rollbar, Searchlight, Wideload, Goldbug, Chase, Freeway)

Decepticon troops consists of:
Conehead Seekers (Thrust, Dirge, Ramjet)
2 Decepticon Pretenders (Your call - Bludgeon? Carnivac? Snarler?)
Trypticon

Line art in inks. Text allowed. So, as ever, here's the small print:

1. Art should be designed as a "pin-up."
2. Completed pieces must be returned to idwtf.drawing.comp@gmail.com no later then 22:00 GMT on 31st March, 2010.
3. Ideally, final submitted pieces should be sized to 850 X 1300 pixels, with a resolution of 72 Dpi, and in RGB mode. (scanner permitting)
4. Images must be in .jpg format
5. I cannot Stress This Enough: Files are to have the following naming convention; Entrant name - Character Name (I.E. Richter - Dynobots.jpg) - I will do any necessary renaming before the vote.
6. You can add text to the piece.
7. Finished pieces are to be inked, with shading allowed.
8. Pictures ARE NOT to be displayed anywhere until they have been posted on the IDW forums. After this, you are free to pimp your work anywhere you like.
9. Coloured images are not to be displayed until voting is over.
10. Collaborations are permitted, but only for the "inking" process. Any assistance must be identified.
11. All emails to idwtf.drawing.comp@gmail.com will receive a reply confirmation within 48 hours. If you have not heard back from me after 72 hours, please re-send the entry. I would rather receive it 40 times than miss it!
12. In case of a tie at the end of the voting period, I will cast the deciding vote.
13. Names of entrants will not be displayed till after voting has closed, so please don't spoil the vote by saying 'ooh that's mine' - We'll cover up any signatures on the artwork too I guess, if everyone's ok with that too.

Heh, yeah sorry. I've got a bit of a block on this one. Without ripping off Bespin or Flight Of Dragons, I'm not sure I'll get round this one.
