its late im bored
so here is a new thread
what kind of computer do you use with what OS ?
i use an imac G5 1800 mhz with mac os X tiger to go online
i have an 2 year old intel imac core 2 duo with mac os X snow leopard and dual booting windows xp
and a compaq cq 60 laptop with windows vista residing on its hd

I had a Dell with a Duel Core AMD Athlon..came with Vista 32 bit...
Sold it to my uncle... after a year and 1/2 of ownership....
Vista 64 bit worked better than 32bit but Windows 7 is way WAY better...
I like Ubuntu as an O/S but when its time to play games you gotta run back to Windows...
I dont use MAC, no reason...just very limited exposure...and I like building my own pc, so MAC is out of the equation.

psst....it's Mac not MAC!
Agree with Windows 7. I was a beta tester. Downloaded it onto my netbook and expected it to be like horribly slow. In fact it was amazingly quick. |

As a PC guy who is also an A+ tech...I dont have all the horror stories most people complain about with Windows..since I just constantly update Windows one per week..or at least search for updates... even with win XP
Now Windows 98 SE wasnt bad..but every now and then...BSOD
Win 98, Win 95, Win ME, all bugged and constant head aches... usually once per month...
VISTA, the only real problem with Vista was it was SLOWER than XP and had issues with older Printers/Scanners etc.... even with the PATCHES the things wouldn't work...
Windows NT, and 2000 never used...
Started messing around with Linux back in 2000 with Mandrake 7.1 was nice, and interesting, has over the past 9 years (Linux) has made some VAST improvements, all we need is Game Developers to release Linux Games and boom...Microsoft will be greatly damaged at least....

LOL, I do own an iphone, and it is an AWESOME machine....
Browse the web at lunch at wifi spots, play games, and all kinds of other stuff, its like haveing a PS3 in your pocket except my wife can find me with it.
