i am aware this probably won't happen but i was wondering if hasbro had mentioned any possibility for joe commercials focused on the comic like it was back in the eighties. thanks!!

I hadn't thought of that. That's an awesome idea! It certainly seems like a great marketing move--after all, it helped make Marvel's G.I. Joe the "hottest comic of the eighties." (and I hear the toy line didn't do so badly either)

Those adverts you loved put pressure on larry to include Tomax,Xamot and Serpentor in the comic as mock-ups were used in the adverts

I don't even see ads for the GI Joe toys...why on earth would Hasbro spend any money on making comic ads? Or what makes you think that IDW would spend the money? Hasbro would most likely say "you want them...you pay for it."

As tangentially mentioned above, the current comic designs and toys on the shelves do not always match up. No Hawk in his brown jacket, Duke looks nothing like his comic uni, etc...

I'm sure we will see commercials for the movie toys. Does anyone know the exact release date? You know, if anyone here cares. I've noticed my local Targets are clearancing current Joe product to make space.
