In the newest issue of Wizard, they have their year-end awards. ANGEL:AFTER THE FALL (or, as it's called in Previews this month, just plain ANGEL) won one. Issue 3, the reveal that Angel is human. Featuring Franco's beautiful art for the last page of the book.
Very cool, was surprising to see. Go team us! |

Awesome news! You and Franco 100% deserve it. The moment was perfect, the writing and the art. When I first read it, I totally gasped and stared at the page slack-jawed. And if I remember correctly from one of the Q&As, that was a plot point you proposed for this series. So again, congrats and well done. I can only hope that Angel #17 won't be the last Lynch/Urru comic team-up!
EDIT: Oh yay! I loved Locke&Key! (not as much as Angel or Spike: AtF, but I'm so looking forward to the next series when it starts!) |

Just increases my sadness level at the fact yoyu are leaving after Aftermath. A good and bad moment.
