Just saw this thread - bought the Galaxy Quest trade on impulse buy - loved every minute of it!
I agree that the way the characters seemed to snap back to their movie characterisation was a bit of a let down, but maybe necessary to give the series some kind of launch point. However, in every other way I think this grasped the characters really well.
While it's not my usual kinda thing, I did flip through the pages with a big goofy grin on my face. I love the use of Guy's 'the red thingie is coming at the yellow thingie' line. Pure class. _________________ Check out my page on DA http://hde2009.deviantart.com/
