I love what you've done here man, awesome.

I'd really like to see a 'family tree' diagram depicting the order, rank and position of the autobots and decepticons.

e.g. Autobots: Commander Optimus Prime
Lieutenants Prowl Springer etc and then in turn who they've got under them...

but all pretty with connecting lines Smile

Thanks, friend.

If prettiness and connecting lines are your thing, look no further than the mammoth Encyclopedia thread. Richter and the guys have superceded this thread in pretty much every way. I'm just keeping track of where the characters are.

I'm about to update for Origin #2. It's a huge one.

This list is out of date.

No Nova Prime, for one. Or Ramjet/Devastation bits.

Mm. I updated it just before the forum went through that time-jump and have been pretty busy ever since. I've updated it now with Spotlight: Ramjet included. I've not got a copy of Devastation #3 yet, so if there are any stunning character appearances, please don't blurt them out here.

I'm going to need some help with the Megatron: Origin appearances. I've split the cast up quite differently there to make things more useful for future reference.

Re: Ramjet Spotlight

No mention of Sparkplug Witwicky in Ramjet's dream sequence? The un-named guy certainly does look like him a lot.

Updated for Devastation 3. There sure are a lot of locations covered in the cross-continental races of Ratchet, the Ark-19 and Hot Rod's roadtrip.

As for Sparkplug (and what may be Buster) - I'm not sure whether they should register on the list. Their appearance is clearly a joke / Easter Egg and they aren't explicitly named... but then I did include Elita-One in the Origin section and her appearance is much the same thing. Hmm!

Who are those background guys in the Spotlight: Blaster previews? Is that Kick-Off I see?

Have updated for Spotlight: Blaster and A bit of Devastation #4. I still need to go back and work on the Megatron: Origin part, specifically the locations and where everyone ends up. Thing is, I've sold my issues of Megatron: Origin and have yet to buy the trade. Anyone who's got the issues handy is welcome to help me out here.

Oh, and I've changed Blaster's very brief appearance in Stormbringer to Bluster, his joke twin brother. This is Simon's way of clearing up a one-panel continuity error.

Question that has always buged me bout the Lake Michigan site.....

I grew up in Michigan City, Indiana (along Lake Michigan) - it's part of the region known as 'Chicagoland area'.

From what I gather the Autobot underwater location was just north of PORTAGE, Indiana - can anyone confirm this?

Is th riter or arist have any ties to that area?

Other choices (aside from Portage) could be north of Gary, Lake Station, Michigan City, maybe even as far east at New Buffalo, Michigan. All are likely contenders for the nearest civilzation/area where the bots were submerged.

I CAN'T see it being Chicago. I'm VERY famliar with the ENTIRE waterfront area and it was WAY too underdeveloped to be off shore to Chicago. This also make the Michigan City location a very small shot unless its north of the suburbs - such as MOUNT BALDY national park - located west of Michigan City.

Just curious - if anyone knows - please tell me, the curiousity is driving me nuts and has been FOREVER!

I noticed a couple of inconsistencies regarding Spotlight Optimus. Namely:

Afterburner and Nosecone are not in this issue (although I'm not 100% sure, one of them might be standing between two monstercons as they enter the ship on the last page).

Backstreet, Dogfight, Sureshot, Override, Crosshairs, and Gunrunner all appear on the last page.

About spotlight blaster:

Gunrunner is not in that book.
Camshaft - add DEBUT
Backstreet is not debuting, he was seen in S: Optimus Prime.
Landfill - add DEBUT
Mirage is in Origin #3, in the crowd at the funeral, so no debut.

I got a question about Spotlight Optimus Prime

On last page with Monster Pretenders, We see autobot who's guarding with Lightspeed. They are standing in ship's gate. We can see him between Bristleback & Scowl

Anyone recognise him (Autobot with Lightspeed)??

I began reading these when Devastation was just being released. I read everything in the wrong order (except for the main story line) and just now managed to find my missing issues of Stormbringer that I had to purchase in a TPB. Thanks for posting all the technical details. That is quite a compilation. This has inspired me to read it again, and in order this time before Spotlight Sideswipe and Hardhead come out.
