That's a pretty good looking cover.
Do you think Cap's just going off in a huff cos Prime out-scores him in the "Who's died the most game"?

Prime "So that A stands for Autobot does it?"
Capt: "Screw you, I'm going home!"

I was about to post that. I'm obviously behind the times!
I rather like the cover. JC does some awesome stuff! |

Also... TPB for this crossover? xD |
Dobtful on the variant covers, more than likely on the TPB. _________________

Randomly, I found this teaser "trailer" on Marvel's site, but can't get it to work -

Can anybody else?
| vadertron wrote: | | That cover is awesome. Though the F-15s seem like an obvious reference to the seekers, I'll just think of them as regular Air Force/SHIELD jets even though IDW continuity books have seen quite a few covers with the G1 style seekers. |
Hrm. Maybe they went witt the older designs for the cover to rope in more people. The casual browser may not be as informed on the TF design changes and may not recognize them as easily in their newer forms. (Just a thought.)
And if those are seekers... how? If this takes place right after Optimus Prime arrives... shouldn't 'Screamer be... um... napping? |

This is set pre-civil war, so he's all good. _________________

I'm thinking they aren't seekers, just regular planes. _________________

Never having read new avengers or any civil war at all - is there any recomended reading (prefer comics over trade in this instance) that I should be doing? _________________ "I do not fear human wrath; I fear only your mercy"

You aren't missing much. There's no art from the series just some text set against a generic space background and the odd sound effect with the logo copy.

*Shrug* I read New Avengers but I didn't like Civil War so I stopped reading Marvel things. I'm... not entirely sure what to suggest since I know very little about the crossover. I would imagine they'll make it as reader accessable as possible though since I'm sure people who never read marvel as much as people who never read IDW will pick this up.

Avoid Civil War if you can, it started out good and went pants rather quickly. The early New Avengers does not read well in individual issues IMO and it is much more enjoyable in trade format. I'd certainly recommend the first two trades.

This pic can also be found here in Art Du Jour:
http://www.idwpublishing.com/news/dujour.shtml
Normally, IDW wouldn't display tf stuff that isn't of their own creation, but seeing as this is in continuity, I'm guessing they've made an exception.
The pic is missing all the writing around the outside. _________________
