much of the same as last time
Discuss the strips.
Review the stories.
Preview the brilliant artists' work.
Praise the creative geniuses.
Abuse the derivative fanwankery.
Give money to the moderators.
Whatever floats your boat. |

Wow.
It's an interesting artistic style. Is it a computer generated image rather then hand drawn?
I think there are two basic approaches to the Mosaics.
One is the "short story" like the Punch/Counter-Punch story, which has a definable beginning, a middle and an end (even though in that case the end was intentionally ambiguous).
The other is a "moment in time" style, like the recent Cliffjumper story "Persuasion" which although doesn't adhere to the conventions of a story (with a problem and a resolution) is an interesting scene and explores the dynamics of the character.
I think it'll be interesting to see with repeat authors whether or not they adhere to one style or the other or explore them both (I know I lean more to the story then the moment in time approach which means I try and fit too much into each frame).

It's almost a bit of a cross between a Mainframe animation (the company that did the BeastWars/BeastMachines series) and something from the TF: Cybertron animated series. _________________ okay to print - PSN ID Paradron_Bomb

I was actually thinking about this last week(gotta keep the ideas rolling around until the scripts are allowed to be submitted again), and I noticed I adhere a lot to the "short story approach". All the ones I submitted are like that, and the ones I have in my head are like that too. Of course, the Punch/Counterpunch story was the first Mosaic I read, and it really made an impact on me on what could be done with a single page.
And about the 22-page Mosaic, if it's gonna involve multiple authors, I think it'd be fun to write a page, cause I haven't burnt out on ideas yet. _________________

| I'd rather not write a page, rather I'd like to script a sequence that plays out across the story. |

If the 22-page comic idea gets off the ground, I'd prefer it to be it's own stand-alone project, not part of Mosaic.
That's how the other one is being handled. _________________ Okay to print

That's cool.
I'd still like to do something in relation to it though. |

I'm willing to bet that the 22-pager WILL get off the ground. From what I understand, it has some pretty talented individuals prepping it for launch.
And rest in peace Old Mosaic Thread. We barely knew you. But hello new Mosaic Thread. It's nice to meet you. _________________ -OK to Print-

Everyone's talking about "another" 22 page comic, aside from the other one we can't talk about _________________ Okay to print
