i dunno about anyone else but sometimes i have no faith in my ability.

some will disagree but its just me, its what motivates me i guess. i have to prove to myself that i can do it.
hence this peice. took a while to do mainly cause i have 0 free time at the moment and i hurt my hand but anyway here we go.

my goals here were to
a) make this look as much like the movie as possible, which meant playing the movie and taking screen shots, all versions, the 20th ani, the remastered and the original, to make sure that the colours and lighting was right.
b) whilst keeping the cartoon feel give it a nice textured feel to it

so have i done good you think ?
C&C welcome

Bottom four panels work well.

Top right panel (and top left to a lesser extent) comes off as a bit flat. There aren't really any shadows, and I think there you could do with concentrating more on light sources than texture, to give it depth -- quick example:

I've never seen Bumblebee look so creepish.

I see what you mean. Didn't really come across like that to me though. I really like the pose. It took me a bit to get used to Roche's stylization, but the dynamics he gives to the characters he draws are enthralling to me.

I can only suggest you eat a diet of more blue smarties and cheet-o's, cos if this is you on a 'downer', your colors when you're feeling hyped-up would (i suspect) make my eyes melt Cool

as it is, the second and third panels are toe-curlingly good Shocked why couldn't the movie have been that well drawn and coloured?

I love Nick too. Him and Limabean need to team up again; their work on the Hot Rod Spotlight was awesome.

Throw in Omega Supreme, and you've got a real party.
