I know a number of fans on here have posted some fanfics. I did some up about 13yrs ago, but not done any since - mainly due to the fact that from 1994 started reading core Marvel comics [due to Mr Wildman doing art on Xmen & Spiderman] & getting myself a Mega Drive CD 32X, Saturn, Dreamcast, Xbox, Gameboy SP, Gamecube, Xbox 360 & loads more US comics. I did pick up the America Flagg issue to have a laugh at Rob [I'm Pat Lee's best mate] Liefield & the "Oh they are not left over pages from Captain America - isn't that the Hulk & Thor?" issues.

But I came up with AU5 - & did 2 one shot [with art from the great UK Transfan Martin McVay!!]

The set up here was - kept with the Marvel run until we got to #120. Then Death's Head is killed [or is he] - but what about First Aid? [remember he's in Limbo]

so the remains of DH get taken back to the Ark & he become First aid for a while [this ties in with why the protectobots where not together in #125] - until he returns back to the future [so issues #133 can happen] with the real First aid returning.

The visions that Galvatron recalls in Timewars do happen - so big change for all events from 1989 onwards.

All this basic outline was all written up pre 1996 & ensured that I don't pass on any story ideas to Simon Furman [who does like to avoid reading fanfics - this is mainly to cover himself if an idea happens to come across in a main story]. But just looking back at comics since 2002 - some points do feel similar.

I started out the AU5 Generation NeXt with a story with Unicron crossing over to different timelines [a bit like Worlds crossover in Armada], then the DW G1v2 #1 does have a feel like how I redid the Movie. Where Megatron is in space then ends up drifting.

So in 2020 Unicron is destroyed - along with Earth & Cybertron. Both planets have to reform & this starts the Generation NeXt story. Where all the Transformers are Autobots V Jhiaxus. Focus on group of Scorponok, Prowl who have to quickly learn how to walk, fight, transform within just a few minutes of coming out of the pool [see the birth in G2#5]

They later all jump in the Ark & crash land on a planet like Earth [which is similar to the marvel Universe - but you need to have read Ruins #1,2 from Marvel to get a feel for the place]. This planet they have had the Transformers comic & just happen to match the characters up.

The government foolishly reprogram all the character [remember they are all good guys] to be like the G1 ones. Then are surprise when the Decepticons take over [DOH!!]

Then we have a story called One nation under Tron [I like the one nation under Doom title in the Marvel 2099 books] which is split with events that match the lead upto US#67. President X [being like Blackrock & neoknights] sents his Xmen to take care of the threat. Nice fight of Megatron V En Saber Nur.

That's the last I got to - but someof the events above are a bit off, can't quite remember all the details & not looked at the scraps of paper I wrote the stories down on for over 8yrs.
