Wasn't sure if it was okay to post a screen shot from the app on the site. Wink

Midtown have released their Tony Fleecs illustrated exclusive covers for issues #4 and #5 featuring King Sombra and the crystallized mane six among others! I cannot contain my love.

Also, is the first post still being updated? I notice it neglects the Hot Topic variants released and announced, as well as the Twilight micro series Third Eye variant.

I've got a spread sheet I use to keep track of everything.

I'll post a link when I'm not on my phone.

I know it is Rainbow Dash yet all I can see is Mrs Cake. Confused

With the Mane 6, Spike, the CMC, Shining, Cadance and some of the best fanonized background ponies, this is actually a pretty good group shot. It even makes Sombra look like a true villain.

But a composite cover across two different story arcs? Come on!

That's exactly what I thought Laughing I like it a lot, but yeah, it's kinda weird to make that cover over 2 story arcs XP

Link to spreadsheet.

Keep in mind guys that that is also my personal checklist for the covers so that i don't lose track of what I have, and what I don't.

Out of curiosity, are there any differences between the 1st and 2nd printing beyond the rainbow IDW logo? That's the only one I know about for sure.

Nothing besides the Rainbow IDW logo. The covers for the issues are exactly the same. The box is slightly different as it features covers C an D wrapped around it instead of A an B.

I guess I can pass on the second, third, and fourth printing. Collecting all the variant covers in the first place is already a pain on the wallet as it is.

Although I can't help but feel I will end up getting them eventually.

As previously seen on the micro series #1 third eye cover, here is the Copy Incentive cover for Issue #3 by J. Scott Campbell!

Not a fan of the muzzles. Beyond that though, I like the cover.

Where did you find it?

As I said before, I thought he might draw them as humans. Either that or in a ridiculously over-the-top action-packed scene. Nope.

And it does look like it belongs to another generation.
