I edited it for you Brian. Sorry - just got so excited at it - its rocks. As much as I love the Tony Harris cover - this is even better. This is what i wanted from the beginning:)

I think it's seriously my favorite piece of Franco's art. Until maybe his cover for issue 2.

Oh please dont apologise.....Its such a thrill to see it. You've no idea ( actually now that I think of it of course you do!) of how much we all love Angel and his universe and want it to continue. And of course how indebted we all are to yourself and Chris and all at IDW - and of course Joss!

Wow, that is really good. Oh, I can't wait even more now. Why is Angel alone though? Shouldn't the others be there with him?? I really hope he kills that dragon.

I think that its better for the 1st cover that Angel is all alone - What an iconic image!

Yeah, I guess you're right. I wonder if it symbolises his inner loneliness. He didn't really have anyone left at the end of Season 5. Or maybe he feels he's alone in the battle. You know, typical Angel taking the world on his shoulders.

| It's such a great time to be a fan of the Buffyverse, isn't it? We've got Season Eight going on now, After the Fall coming out in a little more than two months, and maybe friggin' Ripper next year. Things really, really couldn't be any better than this. After the Fall is going to be sooooo damn good. |

If that cover is anything to go off, yeah it will be. Maybe After the Fall will be the new top comic, as opposed to Buffy. I hope it is. It'd be good to see ANGEL and IDW getting the limelight for once.

No offense to the first artist's cover but i'm definitely feeling this one alot more.
Very dark and apacolyptic feeling about it and the scenery looks amazing.
Let's hope that this will put to rest all those that complained how Franco draws Angel. |
