Is Hearts Of Darkness part of the old ongoing? or is it a series on it's own?
Thanks |

It was originally released as a 4 issue mini-series alongside the old ongoing, though heavily tied into that continuity. When the time came for a TPB release, IDW took the decision to release it as vol 4 (of 7) of the old ongoing series.
So the answer to your question is technically "both", but for the sake of ease, yes, count it as part of the old ongoing. _________________ Some ideas to improve the comic: One: Drift needs to be louder, angrier, and have access to a time machine. Two: whenever Drift's not in an issue, all the other characters should be asking "Where's Drift"? |

Farinas' art forced me to get new glasses because my prescription got worse....nothing against him personally but his art was not easy on the eyes. _________________ Ok to print!

Hee Hee, guess you've had the misfortune of reading it.
I've never read it, or Continuum, or Chaos.
However I did suffer through Micromasters and New Avengers/Transformers _________________ "Running away with a Spaceman in a box, anything could happen to you" |

Heart of Darkness... twice, hoping that with time and perspective, it would be better.
New Avengers/Transformers... still plan to, someday...
Micromasters? |

This looks... well, almost unreadable.
The saving grace seems to be how many times each issue's summary uses the words "Big Daddy." |

I am probably in the minority but I didn't think the Micromasters series by Dreamwave was all that bad, compared to HoD especially. _________________ Ok to print!

agreed. Scenes with Fort Max and Ultra Magnus had some redeeming value. _________________ September 17, 1984. MTME Part I. The world changed forever.

Exactly, plus those character were rarely seen whereas HoD just looked bad. Not to knock Farinas but man...his Galvatron design was just od honestly. Then again I am not a Guidi fan either so.....(although his MTME sourcebook Blitzwing is cool)
That aside, I collected for sake of being completist but for those who haven't you're not missing much at all. AT ALL. _________________ Ok to print!
