This is such a rip-off of Deszaras' design. In fact this is the look I hope they introduce Deszaras with if they ever bring him in the comic.
As for Megatron, he was severely injured in his fight with D-Void. But was he reformatted with the planet like the other Cons? I have to assume yes, so I venture to guess he will return in a War for/Fall of Cybertronesque body. I dont imagine we will see him for a couple years.

that mold was actually used as a timelines Deathsaurus in 2005!  |

I'm not saying that it was Megatron as most people picture him. All I'm saying is that I personally like it a whole lot, and I feel that, purely visually, it is a lot more fitting of Megatron's personality than the more common designs. |
I think they could have used this design in the movies, though. It could've been great. Then again, there's enough to fill a book on what they should've done better in the movies, so I won't go there any further. |

I would love it if Hasbro made this mold of Megatron.
Although I do like the WFC look I have to say.

Megatron like all good bad guys never really dies so yes I think he will be back eventually. Looking at the above pic the alt mode looks like Skystalker from the ROTF toyline.
