I ask this because what MTMTE has in abundance is humor. And lots of it. There are genuine laugh out moments. But who do you regard as the funniest bot on board. We all have different sense of humors so we might have different opinions on who is and who isnt.

Mine is Tailgate. His dry humor especially when Magnus is trying to teach him the Autobot Code is hilarious.

For the record Swerve tries too hard but thats just me.

I like "smiled once and regretted it ever since".

His persona in MTMTE actually makes his semi-quip "cannons ready in case they try something 'hilarious'" (from Wreckers) even funnier. He can't think of anything worse than something being hilarious.

Swerve.

I was won over the second he appeared before Red Alert, lol

Rung is close to my heart for sheer adorable, same as Tailgate, but Swerve is made for humor, and well placed as batman of the lost light, but it was still a tough decision, Whirl in particular springs to mind, but it looks like Swerve is pulling well ahead of the pack here!

Yep, that's pretty much a no-brainer. Although I'm not sure if my most favourite humouristic scene is one with Swerve, Swerve is a character that does humour well on his own, while a lot of the other humour derives from interaction between specific characters (Tailgate and Magnus come to mind).

Big fan of Deadpan humour and that sums up IDW Ultra Magnus, like you say so serious its funny. Such a better character than G1 Magnus.

I'd love to see this referenced in universe ...
"There's a disgusting amount of gambling going on on this ship right now Rodimus"
"Hmm?"
"Look at this "who is the f ... fuuu..... FUNNIEST mech aboard""
"So? We've been stuck in this nebula for a month now, bots get bored."
"I'm leading the poll"
"..."
"STOP SMIRKING!"
*Magnus then walks out of the office and all you can hear from off panel is "STOP IT" "YOU THERE ... ENOUGH OF THAT" and finally "SWERVE!!!"*

I voted "other".

Because for me, the funniest moments come from those that aren't meant to be funny. Deadpan snarky, flashes of memory, panic... whatever it is, the guys like Ratchet, Animus, Ore, Rodimus... even Drift, man! "Biggest tick ever..." That's where the real humour is coming from for me.

Rodimus' summary of Magnus and Drift as misery guts and "offensively upbeat" respectively was one of my big chuckle moments.

This is the funniest comic series I've ever read, and I voted Magnus. Just some great stuff from a character I never expect to laugh at
