I'm wondering if we can construct a sufficient Marvel time-line.
Basically, I'd like to know concurrent events in other books that was happening at the time.
Say like, what was going on in X-men pre-Civil war...
I just was curious to know because really, I haven't been much of a Marvelite...except for Cable/Deadpool.
Basically, I'm looking at the TF/New Avengers as the ground zero event...
And, it would help to have good "drop off" points in the other titles. |

I don't read the regular Marvel universe since I just can't afford to buy 40 years...or even 10-20 years of past books/issues to catch up and find out what's going on. That being said, I recently picked up one of the Ultimate titles--and think they are great. I'm a Marvel Ultimate universe fan now. It was easy to get into w/o having to know too much...and the stories build and play nicely off of each other. _________________ **Everything I post is okay to print--so sayeth the Lord of WeHo.

If you want to construct a timeline, a good starting point would be the end of House of M. It changed the world completly and affected everyone. And it wasn't very long before the Civil War. _________________

House of M is a good drop off point, i don't know if you're gonna need anything major from other titles except for the Avengers and other Marvel heroes such as Wolvy and Spidey. For example i can't see the Xmen being relevant - unless you want it of course!!! _________________ Twitter: @lukeabarnett

Yeah, everyone in the 616 would be relevant.
Actually, it's eerie that Shockwave's Energon earth lacing fits right into the scheme of things for me.
Of course, now that idea would come off like a Smallville rip off...
Uhm...
I'm thinking out loud now |
