Some more tidbits, shamelessly stolen from the Full Metal Hero forum:

It's really great reading the Galvatron arc from start to finish (Target 2006 - Time Wars)
Loving all the bits inbetween such as Legacy of Unicron and Galvatron Dead or Alive.

Who said anything about issue 6? |
Ever since we saw the solicit for RID #6, the Dinobots have been the popular guess for the 'fan favorite squad' mentioned. And the Dinobots are now confirmed for RID.

I thought this. Last we saw him he was with The Wreckers and then any mention of him vanished. He certainly has the power to take down Metroplex. I am guessing it will mark the entrance of Trypticon instead though as they were 'rival' bases back in Sunbow, that rivalry may return in some form here.
