Hey everyone!
Look what I just found!

You know, I don't know if I'm talking to anyone right now, but since my recent poll on the forum suggests that at least some people like Volume 4, maybe someone is listening. BTW, Eric Talbot has said he plans to finish the inking on #32 within the next week. And IDW, sorry if it seems like I am promoting Mirage on your turf, I don't mean it like that! It's just most TMNT fans read this forum, so it seems like a good place to share my findings! _________________ OK to print. Just don't say 'Turtle Power'! |

Yay! Someone's listening! What do you think this cover means? I have a feeling that Raph is going to revert back to normal in this issue, perhaps going berserk whilst changing back just like he did when he changed into Gameraph! _________________ OK to print. Just don't say 'Turtle Power'! |

How many of the past few issues haven't you read? #31 is on Peter Laird's blog (just search it on Google) and Mirage still have some back issues left (to order from their site) including a few copies of the limited-to-1000-copies #30! Let me know the issues you haven't read and I can fill you in. AND I found another thing (which is kinda the same thing:

It turns out that Eric Talbot didn't get very far with the inking, and he has handed the pages over to Jim Lawson!
Jim Lawson -
If you’ve followed me on FB, you already know about TMNT issue 32 and the trials and tribulations regarding that book. Well, I have an update.
This past Tuesday, Eric handed me the original pages and basically said that if I wanted to finis
h inking them, to go ahead- that he wasn’t able to.
This was exciting news to me- I’ve had a little obsession about this issue, and the fact that that it was done, but never finished, always kind of bothered me. I don’t blame anybody, and getting it out there might not make any difference at all, however I’m pretty certain some of the old Mirage fans might appreciate this small furtherance in the TMNT series 4 saga.
So- since earlier this week, I’ve been noodling on the pages, with the ultimate goal (naturally) of finishing it. The few pages that I’ve done, I’m pretty happy with however I must admit that very often, when you have 2 inkers on the same book, the results are a little un-unified. Not sure that’s a word, but you know what I mean- the art doesn’t really look cohesive. I do notice this on the done pages, but hopefully, it won’t detract from the finished book. Maybe I’ll post a completed page in the near future.
Anyways, I thought that this might be of some interest. The page posted is from 32, and shows the degree of inking already done. There are some pages with much more, and perhaps a few with a little less, but I think it provides a little inside glimpse inside the backstory of this issue.
Jim Lawson also says that Michael Dooney has an unfinished cover in the works. The only problem is that Peter Laird has approved of Jim's inking as the official version, but to get the completed issue, Peter Laird would have to do the toning and lettering first, and he won't be doing so for a while.
