One word: WOW.
THAT was...AWESOME! I bought the Darkness Risins dvd first, as the intended warm-up; and then bought Season 1. SO good! I can't wait for Season 2 on dvd! |

The series certainly got better as it went along culminating in some of the best TF TV episodes ever.
I have seen some of the second season and so far its great. _________________

Could be refering to Prime or Animated. The opposite of The Unicron Trilogy however. _________________

| I just bought it last week and quickly burned through watching each episode for the first time. I had a lot of fun with it. Television CG animation has certainly come a long way since the days of Beast Wars/Mainframe Entertainment. But it helps that the stories are usually engaging and fun. |

Same. I've been watching it for the first time recently.
I made a point of reading Exodus and the Prime graphic novel immediately beforehand. It's been a really good and interesting experience.
I really like this incarnation of Optimus. Much more than his Animated counterpart. Nice to have a warrior Prime again. Just wish they'd make him a flyer like they did with Primal.
Those last 4 episodes of the series was unmissable. Looking forward to making a start on Exiles and S2 in the near future. _________________ "Running away with a Spaceman in a box, anything could happen to you" |

Gotta admit i'm still not entirely sold on Prime. Granted i've only seen about half of the first series but it does have one or two things that put me off of embracing it fully.
Vehicon drones
Humans
Bulkhead
I really, really hate comic relief (yet oddly enough I was ok with Waspinator and Rattrap, not Quickstrike though) Also the vague Bay-aesthetic of the Autobots does bug me a bit. _________________
