1) Any chance you will publish an adaptation of the forever forthcoming new USA Godzilla Movie? The surprise presentation at Comic-Con went over very positive with the audiance.

Suggestion: I think you should get more hamburgers.

Bonus Question: What are the chances of IDW getting the rights for a Gamera mini-series?

Hi dmarks,

Both of this things may be a possibility in the future, but neither are covered in our current contract. As we just negotiated our new contract, I doubt you'll see Gamera in the near future. The movie, we'll see.

Bobby-

Great news to hear about the possibilities of Godzilla comics to tie in with the new American Godzilla! I'm sure you heard at Comic Con the hype for this movie was MASSIVE and the reaction was overwhelmingly positive! People are VERY excited for this movie!

Congrats on more solid numbers for this month with the Godzilla comics for Issue #2 and the Legends trade paperback! Hopefully this is very encouraging for you guys!

A few people i talked to at G-fest have said that at their comic stores the Godzilla comics fly off the shelves and sell out very quickly!

Forgive me if this was asked before but is it possible IDW could make comics based on this cartoon?

It was the only good thing to come from the American Movie ( which it was far superior to)

Sorry about that. It was about midnight when I saw the message, lol. But I'm pretty sure when you obtain the rights to a character, you can use the form as long as it pertains to the story and keeps the creature/mech in-character.
