Alas geekjunk, there are a goodly number of folks over at Toho Kingdom who don't like Space G's film. It's not too big deal I suppose, as thankfully SG has made numerous appearances in video games and (hopefully more to come) IDW's comics.

Zach will be doing covers through issue #6. Unfortunately scheduling on different projects means that will be it for him on Godzilla.

I don't want to confirm anything until the art is actually done and in, but I think it's safe to say you might be seeing some more EJ Su and Bob Eggleton covers in the future.

As for Space G, all I have to say is, "HMMMM!!"

Bobby, I can honestly say I've never thought about anything related to that song when seeing Spacegodzilla. So I must be missing out on something... and I'm not sure I want to know what it is.

Though that song definitely made say "Hmm". And laugh.

Well we knew he/she was around, just sitting on the Moon chilling with the Cat-women, Princess Luna, and those freaky bat people.

Also I am not sure if I am happy or not that it was already revealed Kiryu will be in the book. On the one hand its my favorite Mecha-Godzilla on the other hand...the surprise is gone months before it shows up.
Its like if you are going to tell me Kiryu is showing up, I'd like to have only known one issue at most prior.

Its like, "we will be having Biollante, King Caesar, Gigan, and another King Ghidorah (the outer space one) all show up, but it wont be till issue 10." *while still at issue 2*

For some it kills the moment. Others, like myself, sorta excites the moment. But at that point, it's all or nothing for the people like myself. For one, I am excited that Kiryu is in GODZILLA. Though his vauge details on Ghidorah (or SpaceGodzilla) keep me going, too.

I think Kaiju hits on an important point: Sometimes the surprise is spoiled, but at the same time that is how excitement and interest are generated. It's a fine line to walk, and I'm sure we err on the wrong side too much for some. Others maybe not. It's tricky.
