I didn't see a thread about this comic anywhere on the forum, which is a shame because I'm really digging this new title from IDW.

Here's a preview of #2:

I hope others are picking this title up because:
a) its awesome
b) to encourage IDW to run with some more original, creator-owned titles.

As an update to this one - if you've been hesitant about checking out this comic - we'll be giving away 3 issues of #1 all week long in conjuction with a series of interviews with the creative team.

First up is Chris Roberson - he gives us a short Q&A and you've got until this evening to enter to win a free #1 of Memorial, but we will have two more chances (Wed & Fri) to win as well:

I read the first two issues and I really really liked it.

I just bought the third issue (long story) and as soon as I read it, I'll come back here and post my thoughts on it.

But from the first two issues, I can say this title is fantastic. Any fan of magic worlds, strong female leads, and beautiful art should give this book a try. The covers are nothing to sneeze at, either. Cool

Incidentally, anyone who likes this title should also pick up Roberson's iZOMBIE from DC's Vertigo. It has the same elements -- strong female lead, interesting characters, all-ages fun story, beautiful art -- as MEMORIAL. Trust me, you won't regret it. Wink

That was a nice, quick interview. Do you have the other interviews available?
