| I noticed it is not listed as coming out next week on the Previews site. Has the TMNT Vol.1 HC been delayed? |

Don't quote me on this but I have it in my notes as coming out on September 6th. _________________

Ah, so delayed until Sept 6th? I can wait a couple more weeks I guess! |

It's listed as September 6th on Amazon... but Amazon typically gets graphic novels, trades and hardcovers two weeks after they arrive in retail comic stores. _________________ Author of Mr. Smartass, available for Amazon's Kindle, iPad/iPhone, and other e-reader devices and apps. |

Thanks to everyone here for being so nice and helping me out with my questions and stuff. |

| This blurb on the main page says October for Vol. 1. I wasn't expecting it until next month with Amazon's expected date listed at Sept 6, but it appears to have indeed been delayed. |

I just placed my pre-order with Amazon.com and it said: Expected delivery Sept.9-13 (cause I chose Free Shipping).
The HC is only going to cost me $12 out of pocket though so I'm ecstatic about that. Used what few Amazon Visa Reward points I had left to credit it toward this purchase. So for $12 I'm feeling good about the purchase. _________________ Freedom is the Right of All Sentient Beings - Optimus Prime

For twelve dollars you should feel awesome about that purchase! _________________ Author of Mr. Smartass, available for Amazon's Kindle, iPad/iPhone, and other e-reader devices and apps. |

That is a heck of a delay--four months later than originally solicited! I wonder if they didn't get as many orders as they were hoping for and are now waiting for more buzz/hype based on the current series. Or perhaps they're changing the content in the book... _________________ Author of Mr. Smartass, available for Amazon's Kindle, iPad/iPhone, and other e-reader devices and apps. |

I got the Amazon email today as well. I'm not upset at the delay as I'm backlogged on TPB as it is, got vol.1-2 of Mighty Samson Classics to read as part of that, I'm just glad it's not cancelled.
Maybe they are going to add some content?

| It's weird that the last 2 TMNT articles on the IDW main page have said volume 1 is coming out in October though. Also Amazon sent out messages a few weeks ago about volume 2 being delayed to November 22nd, and they still list that as the date for volume 2. It seems like the January date is just a placeholder date on volume 1, plus those amazon e-mails are automated. |

I got the same Amazon email. I've read three different time frames for release now. I wish I knew which was the real one. _________________ WTF@TFW - A Transformers Podcast
