Wow! Excellent review there. I've got the issue in my current comic stack but haven't read it yet. However, I did thumb through it and it does look great. I love me some TOS style Klingons. _________________

Thanks, Ro-Dan. Patrick is indeed an excelent reviewer and an excerpt of one of his reviews was even printed on the back cover of the Alien Spotlight TPB. So kudos to him and I am glad he is part of the TrekWeb team.

I just read this issue. I really enjoyed it. Byrne certainly knows how to write TOS Klingons. Especially Koloth. He seemed to have his mannerisms and speech down pat. Looking forward to the second half next month. _________________

I thought it was a great issue, the art was fantastic. I'm definitely looking forward to the next issue.
And didn't Byrne say at some point he's going to do another 2 Romulan issues? _________________ "Let us make sure, that history never forgets the name...Enterprise."--Captain Picard |

There's at least one more Romulan story in the works after this one. And there's going to be a second Assignment: Earth series. _________________ Numerically challenged drone

Awesome news about another Romulans story. I've gotta say I'm really enjoying Byrne's TOS Star Trek work. The guy really gets it. You can tell he's a huge fan of the original series and it shows in every panel. _________________

I get the feeling not a lot of people (unfortunately) will respond if I start a new thread, so I'll talk about issue #2 here.
In a nut shell...it was awesome The art was beautiful and the story was great. One of the best scenes was when the gal killed the Praetor and blew the building up...which also had a cool page layout. But the entire story was a great read.
It'd be sweet if he did a Klingon related mini-series but I doubt that'll happen any time soon. I'm looking forward to see what the Crew books will be about _________________ "Let us make sure, that history never forgets the name...Enterprise."--Captain Picard |
