I really hope I didn't post this in another thread. I did check. I realized tonight that really op and megs have not fought eachother much in either tfuk or the revamp. That's not right. There's a distance between the two now but I'm still waiting for the revamp to offer a brutal clash worthy of the animated movie. Anybody else feeling the violence tonight?

They've had quite a few barnies in this continuity haven't they? Brasnya, AHM, the ongoing... They have a bit of a to-do in Autocracy, and then there's Regen.
That's more than I remember from all the Marvel stories. And as Prime vs Megs should be apocalyptically epic, it's plenty so far I feel. |

I think there's room for a bit more creativity in their tussles. There have been a lot of toe to toe brawls so far (with a few quirks like Prime downloading to his trailer and the hijinx in the ongoing with Prime smacking Megatron with a satellite (or whatever it was). If they have another face off I'd like there to be a bit more of a pursuit element, with each bringing their tactical skills and long range abilities to the fore.
To be fair, pretty much all of the combat in the titles degenerates into brawling fisticuffs. That's one area where I think the writers could be a bit more creative, and really make the confrontations exciting events. |

I think that the next time they fight it should be the LAST as in they should both kill each other or Prime should win once and forall. Knock down drag out brawl to the end.
In the mean time I'd rather see both of them fight other bots. More fights like Prime vs six shot or Megatron vs Overlord type stuff. That way if they ever fight again it will be huge.

Maybe Prime and Megatron fighting in elements that both are not familiar with. For example, maybe they fight in a world that they both are not familiar with their surroundings.
I also would like to see some sort of chase scene. That would be cool  |

Totally agree here, Khan. You and I share the same love for the character of Megatron and I want to see him up against someone other than Prime.
Who knows? MAYBE Shockwave has a plan for him to face Overlord....

Depending on how events play out in RiD Megatron may decide to do an Optimus and leave Cybertron (cant see it happening but you never know). Megatron may then cross paths with Prime/Pax and with all the revelations that I feel are ahead may decide to team up rather then be enemies.

I apologize. I just always felt megatron didn't make much of an impact in tfuk. It always seemed to me that soundwave-straxus(sp?)-shockwave-or galvatron were the real bad guys.

Lets be honest the one in the 86 movie is the best will most likely never be topped.
That said I do think that some of the better "final battles" over the years were good the ones that stand out in shows:
The battle between them at the next-to-last episode of Cybertron was pretty damn epic in it's own right.
The final episode of Beast Machines was pretty cool.
Their fights in Animated were good.
In comics: Megatron kicking Prime's * in G2 was brutal.
