Worms! Ha ha!
Interesting choice on Colton's look. He looks the right age for the classic timeline for him to be involved still. Glad he doesn't look like Mr. Clean. |

| dude, I know. He had me at WORMS. Also gave a pretty good explanation of why they picked the current team (ethnicity). Interesting and fitting for the story. I look forward to Van Lente taking these less popular characters and filling them with character like Costa has. |

Well, despite some reservations when I first heard about this title, this seems really interesting! The explanation for bringing the Joes into the public eye reads better in the issue itself than it did in the interviews and discussions late last year.
Looking forward to checking this out. Is it due next week? |

I like that there's actual focus on the good guys for once.
The reboot GI Joe universe has been focusing way too much on Cobra nd its evil until now. |

You can welcome me back to the world of GIJOE regular series.
Guess I will be buying more than Cobra monthly now.
Hopefully Dixon can improve with Special Missions and I might go 3 for 3. |

| There is a great review over on the Hiss. A lot of spoilers on it though... It really sounds good! I am very excited about this new round now. |

Here's a CBR preview with a couple more pages at the end.
I will say, while it's fun seeing Shipwreck in the classic look, you'd think he'd be used to the Shipwreck codename by now, as he's had it since at least G.I. Joe #0 in 2008.
I thought the costume gag was good, but the codename gag was mining the joke a bit too much and was cheesy.
Anyways, I have high hopes and think this run could be very cool, but the preview itself hasn't raised my expectations. Plus the art is a bit lacking at times. With the tiny eyes, extra lines on the faces, and some odd positioning, it's a bit Liefeld-esque at times.
Looking forward to it though. _________________ IDW's trade paperbacks should contain 6 issues or have a lower price. |

I love Duke's line about being G.I. Joe toys! _________________
