I only pick up the singlies and not the trades, but I'd totally plunk down money for hardcover collections like the Transformers ones! _________________

Hi Rafael,
We have a hardcover of the first volume, Change is Constant, which includes the layouts from Kevin Eastman. No plans as of this moment for more hardcovers, but I wouldn't be surprised if we eventually did.
I believe the color classics will be collected in standard tpb format. We skipped #8 because we would have to work out a new deal with Dave Sim to include his Cerebus character, and that proved unfeasible financially. You can find it in the Ultimate collection though.

Hi Bobby,
I don't know if this has been asked before, and there are 122 pages of posts to look through
So here it goes! Regarding the Archie TMNT trades, how are sales on the first few volumes? Can we hope that the trades will continue all the way to the end of the series?
And along with that, is there any chance that as the issues get more into the longer story arcs that the size of the trades may increase as well? For example, if a story is 5 issues instead of 4, will the trade include all 5 instead of just arbitrarily breaking at what seems to be the standard 4 issues?
Thanks for supporting the Archie series. While there are opinons over the price of the trades vs # of issues in each, its the first time these are seeing print in so long. We appreciate it! |

Hi Darth,
Short answer is, I don't know! I'd think we'd be able to continue on to the end of the series, it's not a high over-head item. But I really don't know.
I would hope we could collect them by story, but again, not sure. _________________ "I've lost all the hamburgers." |

Also, please try to get Chris Allan for at least one cover |

Hey Bobby, with the anniversary edition of #50 hitting the stands next week, I was wondering if you could give us any info.. The solicitation is pretty scant with details. Will it have any other features beyond being over-sized, adding the original layouts, and the original bonus pin-ups? _________________ "Baxter, you slime puppy!" |

That TMNT #50 book definitely isn't hitting next week... HOPEFULLY end of February... it's with production right now.
It's in reprint department, so I'm not sure. I think basically Kevin gave over a big box of stuff, i'm not exactly sure what... roughs, layouts, notes, I would imagine. So it will have those kind of extras I think. I need to walk my ass over there and take a look! Some goodies for sure. _________________ "I've lost all the hamburgers." |

Hope folks enjoyed TMNT: Secret History of the Foot Clan #1 today. That book has pretty much been in gestation since TMNT #5, so it's nice for it to finally get in people's hands.
So, the cover to #4 came out a couple weeks ago. We tried to hide the figure as much as possible, but a lot of people still guessed. Hope it didn't ruin the book for anyone! Anyway, read #1 first, then check out the un-censored cover here!
SPOILERS if you haven't read #1!

Whoops! And I definitely meant to say next month! Thanks for the reply, Bobby! Although Ultimate Collection got delayed, it's kind of nice to have both coming out around the same time.
And Secret History of the Foot was great! It's shaping up to be the best TMNT that IDW has done so far! These next few weeks are going to be killer! I'm still hoping to see Ben Bates stick around after #20, but I trust we'll keep getting some great artists either way. _________________ "Baxter, you slime puppy!" |

I hope you are able to keep reprinting the TMNT Adventures series. I would love to have the whole series collected and while I don't exactly agree with the price and format, I will continue buying each tpb to get every last issue!
Also any chance the Fugitoid one-shot will be included in a "Classics" of "Tales of the TMNT" trade?
Also, "Foot Clan" #1 was easily the best TMNT comic in awhile. I've seriously loved every issue that's been released so far, but this was...this was something else! Amazing! |

Oh wow! I didn't realize that wasn't the final cover. I definitely prefer the "shrouded" method of censorship rather than the straight up black out that was done with Slash.
#1 was awesome stuff though! I can see why you danced around my timeline questions for this and the current arc haha, I'll just wait till March to bug you on that stuff again.
Can't wait for next week! _________________ ------------------
