Earth? I liked Furmans earth in Regen...
Personally, I feel the whole Robots in desquise thing applies to any world they go too. Opens up not only cool altmodes, but chances for bots to become something new.
Imagine Bumblebee getting modified to to not only get a new alt mode but suddenley he has to be modified to become a flyer do to the nature of a planet with great distances between land, or he gets a sea mode... etc.
Earth involves humans taking away from the TF's. _________________ Everything I post is ok to print, use, copy, use for inspiration, promote world peace, change lives, etc...and so on and so on.

If the IDW narrative heads back to Earth, I'd want them to delve heavily into the Pretenders toyline. Between mass-displacement thanks to Ore-13, and humans accepting Cybertron Tech being utilized by the governments to keep the peace, there's plenty of logic to built the Pretenders tech around.
Human-sized Transformers, living inside Pretender shells and wearing Cybertron tech as "battle armor" to combat the threat of the remaining Decepticons. Some even have Battle Armor that transforms itself (Mega and Ultra Pretenders).
Because of a massive plot device/narrative need, Bumblebee, Starscream, Jazz and Metalhawk are called to Earth to aid them. Lots of human-based action and fighting, but at the heart of it all are the Cybertronians trying to put fix the devestation wrought by their war across the galaxy. Could be fun. |

Interesting idea, but I would have to pass. Didn't like the Japanese stuff when they did this. Besides, Pretender tech has already been utilized in IDW. _________________

I know I've said this before, but I'd love to see a Transformers story where the humans take the fight to the species that totaled their planet, rather than simply react.
Basically, Mankind attacking Cybertron. _________________

I would LOVE that. Great idea! I just want earth changed/evolved since we last saw it and I would like to see a lot of what straight-edge suggested. _________________ Thank-you IDW for supporting G.I. Joe: the revamp and ARAH. Here's to forty-nine years of adventure! |

This reminds me of Spielberg's awful version of War of the Worlds _________________

How so? Did humans invade Mars at the end?
I'm talking more as in "humans rebuild and take the fight to the enemy". _________________

Well there was that pointless part where they fired a bazooka at one of the Tripods, that was already dead, for no real reason other than hubris.
The only time it would have been relevent for Earth to "fight back" was during AHM, it would serve no purpose now as most of the 'Formers probably barely even acknowledge the planet's existence. _________________

| I'd like to see stories about lesser-known TFs who were left behind, perhaps following up on long-term missions from Prowl, and how they genuinely have to remain IN DISGUISE. Let's have one book where alt modes and transformation actually play a real role in the storyline. |

When I say "fight back" though, I mean as in "use salvaged Cybertronian tech to build a counterattack force to send at Cybertron itself".
More of a invading Japan in retaliation for Pearl Harbor type thing. _________________

As the Transformers are gone from Earth there is no real point in stirring a hornets nest, so to speak. The humans appreciated they were inferior to a race of giant alien robots, so I doubt they would be that foolish. I really don't get the attraction of the setting, especially as I am a fan of the Post TF:TM series. The TF universe is full of bigger and better places than Earth. _________________
