Because this year is pretty much done!
No reason to use the other thread since nothing's happening in the last few weeks of this year. So I copied Batagor's idea for a Godzilla 2013 general discussion thread.

Apparently Godzilla #8's coming out on the 9th. Meh.
Got word yesterday that HCW #4 (which is coming out this Wednesday) was much like the other issues. A fantastic and fun read. Stokoe is probably the best thing that's happened to Godzilla in years.

Your obsession with Varan seems unhealthy  /jk. I wouldn't worry, because I believe it was him who was on the negotiating table along with Biollante, Sanda, Gaira, and more monsters who were already confirmed. I think you need not worry.

Not really unhealthy, I have other monster favorites. I just think he's underrated and needs a shot at a comeback, and with a good story, it could really showcase his coolness. If he was mainstream, I would probably root for another monster's comeback. But again... Varan is my favorite monster. Maybe it is because of all of the ''magic'' surrounding him? The uniqueness? I don't know, really. 
Not much you can say about him, because we really haven't seen a lot...thing is, a character like that, it can be endless stories, including more better background depth. That's what I find cool about it, and it can very well apply to other monsters. |
