Seriously, he's doing a fantastic job! I enjoyed every panel! Your series - the best of all in the TMNT-universe, and his work is perfect for this!

Can't confirm for right now, the timing might not work with Ben's schedule. But we'll see... I agree, Ben's doing a great job.

Very cool! It's nice to see that in the Feudal Japan stories, there's no softening on the violence. It really adds to the drama. It would have been cool if Duncan came back for this mini-series and drew the present portions, just like in #5. Was that ever considered?

That actually brings to mind, how did the idea of bring Santoloucco on board for #5 come about in the first place? It's the only time in the main series so far that we had a 2nd artist in the same issue.

That was so not fair Bobby. I had just resolved myself to the fact that I had to wait an extra week for the secrets of the Foot Clan books but after seeing those all of my breathing exercises were for naught...

Looks amazing and great start to the book I'm very excited to see what happens next

Matches, for various reasons we didn't have a lot of lead time before the launch of TMNT #1. Dan was able to keep schedule for the first four issues, but he was going to need a break to maintain the rest of his run. Tom had planned #5 since the beginning, so we knew that there was going to be a present day and in the past component to #5. So knowing Dan needed some time to get ahead, I enlisted Mateus for the flashback pages.

I knew Mateus as he was someone I discussed Turtles with prior to the launch, so I knew he was a big fan.

Breaking up Foot Clan was never considered, as it was always envisioned as Mateus' project. Plus Dan is now busy. Plus Mateus draws great Turtles, and I couldn't deprive him of that again!

Snazzy stuff BC, thanks for sharing! I hope this Tatsuo guy become a really memorable TMNT character, he seems awesome so far.

And happy holidays to you and everyone else to, thanks so much for all ya'lls hard work, it really really shows (especially as of late!).
