This is the first crossover of these two mega-franchises and most characters barely have any dialogue.

There might not be much dialogue (and I would argue that, but not the point), but what there is is pretty interesting. Some of the interactions are pretty good, and for me, the highlight of the story thus far.

Im hoping for a deluxe hardcover of the miniseries that has tons of extras inlcuding essays that discuss both shows and the significance both have had.

Preview of #7.

Uh oh. Why do I get the feeling we're going to be seeing a "Time can be rewritten" thing happening?

Then again, this might be the Tipton's way of explaining the existence of the Saratoga survivors despite the fact that Best of Both Worlds Part 2 says there were none...

Hmm...

Any sign of a preview for the last issue? It's coming out this week, and they usually go up by now...

Usually, IDW releases a small number of previews (rarely more than 3) on the weekend and then the rest on Monday or Tuesday. Right now CBR has previews of Judge Dredd and Locke & Key, and that's it. Not having a preview yet is pretty standard. I tend to explain this over on the Transformers section every time a TF series doesn't get a weekend preview.

I'd think a non-preview would only happen if the preview pages divulged a major spoiler in the story. Of course, given how things were left in #7, I'd imagine that IDW has reason for keeping things under wraps.

EDIT: I know it's just a coincidence, but I find it kinda funny that the SPACE channel up here would air "The Best of Both Worlds" two parter today and tomorrow, leading up the issue's release on Wednesday.

Doing a new post to talk about the last issue.

Well...it's over.

And it really wasn't good, wasn't it?

I mean, the ending kinda was too neat and too...predictable. I know now why they didn't put a preview out: anyone reading it would have been able to guess the ending in one note.

Then again...that last panel...Hey, Tiptons. I know what you did there. Twisted Evil Very Happy

Fun series, thought Dr. Who came off as brilliant while the crew of the Enterprise were frequently portrayed as dullards. But good clean fun, and somehow it actually seemed to work together.
