Just recently i've spoke to Jack Olesker (former writer of MASK and New Adventure of He-man along with many others) over at he-man.org and he's said that he'd like to write a mini series bridging the gap between the two MASK series in the 80's. I know it's not as simple as hiring someone and obtaining the rights from hasbro(?) but if it was a consideration would IDW approach Jack to tell the lost tales of MASK?
Please discuss and air your thoughts!!!!

Not sure I'd be interested in a mini-series of "what happened" between series of the old casrtoon, but I would love an all-new comic book series for M.A.S.K. It never seems to get the nostalgia respect it deserves, but - at least here in the UK - it was HUGE for a good couple of years.
C'mon IDW, this is right up your alley... _________________ Some ideas to improve the comic: One: Drift needs to be louder, angrier, and have access to a time machine. Two: whenever Drift's not in an issue, all the other characters should be asking "Where's Drift"? |

That's cool and thanks for posting in my thread, I've posted the question to Jack Olessker on how he would either continue or start from the beginning with MASK.
Come on IDW make it happen. |
