So i'm a Tank Girl nub, but I have noticed this little section here forever and just happened to catch the movie on TV a little bit ago. Maybe it's Lori Petty's super cool acting, but I definitely think I want to check this out. Going by past posts...this was rereleased or something by IDW like half a decade ago or so, right? I'm a bother with the whole continuity thing so what issues should I get first. Like what's the order and whatnot? Thanks to anyone who can respond[considering how old this topic is lol].

It's been a while since your post, but if you're still trying to figure out where to start I'd go with TPB Tank Girl Book 1. You can get it on Amazon here:

From there, I'd just recommend getting the collected editions and trades in order of release (that's what I did and it worked out fine).

For the most part you'd get Book 1, 2, and 3, then move on to the "named" TPBs. There's a bunch so I'd recommend just checking the Wikipedia page if you're going to go by release order.

If you're looking for the IDW ones specificially, those would just be a handful of miniseries I believe. Tank Girl: The Gifting, Tank Girl: Visions of Booga, and Tank Girl: The Royal Escape. I think that's it for IDW but I may be mistaken.
