| Quote: | | After several tough cases, the Ghostbusters are ready for a real day off from dealing with the supernatural… but that doesn’t necessarily mean the supernatural is going to take a day off from them. Ready to settle in and do some relaxing, they are surprised as a spectral child appears before them, speaking one word before it disappears — help. |

They'd have to be skipping rather far ahead since it's still summer in #13. Burnham only revealed #16 is a Winston solo story. Probably like #8 was for Egon. _________________ Ghostbusters Volume 2 #3 Notes |

| Gotta admit - that's a pretty sweet cover! And a Winston centered story, with what y'all've already added to the character's background has great potential! |

Christmas story or no, we did promise a holiday cover last year! | Thanks, said the timeline nut.
That was more blood than I thought would be on the cover but maybe there's no limit? _________________ Ghostbusters Volume 2 #3 Notes |

So word around the campfire is that this will be out this week. Anyone know if that's true? _________________ ------------------

Anyone know if that's true? | I saw the December 5th date on Previews World and Comixology but I doubt that date will stick, that's not that much time between #15 and #16. Dan and Luis just finished work on #16 on November 22nd. We'll know for sure come Monday or Tuesday and when weekly previews come out.
I hope December 19th. If it's December 26th, that's a guarantee for a shipping delay. _________________ Ghostbusters Volume 2 #3 Notes |

| I just checked the shipping list posted by the chain down here in Houston, and it doesn't list GB as coming out this week. (Just wanted to help confirm.) Looking forward to it though!! |

Main Story
I was rather pleased to see Winston has an Honorary Doctorate. Fun little convo followed up a proposal?! Interesting. Yeah, sister, no way Winston is quitting... but it was rather cool to see a little slice of his time as a Marine recruit. Easily the funniest thing I enjoyed was the Proton Grenade scene. "It was Egon's idea!"
Poor Janosz. At least he did it to spare his sister and Alan. But wonder what summoning Idulnas needs him for. I'm sure some are rolling their eyes at the prospect of another Gozerian saunter.but nice to see Idulnas wasn't bluffing at the end of #4 and I'm still interested in that Senta character from #6. That was a nice touch with the Gozerian letters! I guess Idulnas is connected to The New Ghostbusters arc or this another a recurring sub plot that comes up later in 2013.
I was a little confused with Ran suddenly coming out of Ecto-1a. Guess they picked him up from Ray's Occult on the way? Also noticed a word balloon on page 10 for Winston was pointing to the driver's side when he was already at the rear getting a pack...Oh, well.
Pin Ups
Uncle Sam! Neat one. Saw the Slimer one yesterday. The pose reminded me of his dream from "The Two Faces of Slimer" Best wishes, Tristan Jones.

My sincere thanks to everybody at IDW who made Ghostbusters "Volume 1" (assuming that's what we're calling it now) a truly memorable and enjoyable romp for longtime GB fans!
Here's looking forward to what awaits in "New Ghostbusters!" |
