Heya everyone!
I'm new to the IDW forums, but a long time comics person. I've been collecting for years, and currently almost work for my local comic book store (as in: a friend of mine owns the place and I get suckered into doing slave labor... but at least I get my monthly books out of it).
I'm relatively new to the world of MLP; started watching at the tail end of season 2 and have become slowly and steadily addicted every since. What can I say: the ponies are taking over and I for one welcome our new Equine Overlords... |

Hey everypony! I'm Nicolás, but you can call me Brownd. I run a forum for spanish-speaking bronies.
I can't describe how excited I am for this comic! Mr. Price seems to be doing a great job with this, his style fits FiM like a glove! Or horseshoe... whatever.
This will actually be my first time purchasing a limited edition comic, I can't wait anymore!! _________________ "Life is nothing but an illussion caused by not partying hard enough" (Andrew W.K.) |

Wanted to find more information about the this comic series and it led me to this forum.
I found about the TV-series back in late January and I've been fan ever since. I mostly watch the show and collect minifigures. I'm also most interested to read and see the comics, which I going to get digitally as I'm not bothered by any special covers and anyway for overseas fan it's much less hassle that way. _________________ Admin @ The Great Rebellion - Collector's Club

Greetings, everypony.
New here, just saying hello. Let's see, what else I can say... Flim & Flan deserve more love from the fans, the BR on my name comes from "Brazil", not Brony, The first issue of the comic was fantastic, but I would prefer it to be a dollar cheaper, and the best pony is [computer disconected]

| I'm semi new here, my account is at most a week old...I think (however, I KNOW I'm bad with time) I actually created this account just to vote for Fluttershy as my favorite pony. I've been watching the show since a month or three before season two came out (which as I'm sure you all know means I mare-a-thoned (teehee) season one) and I'm a huge fanboy. |

My fiancee and I are both fans, and we blame William Shatner. I'll explain.
We were waiting in line for Shatner's autograph at Dragon*Con 2011, in Atlanta GA. When some "fur-suited" ponies came into the lobby area for pictures. (The costumes were really good, by the way). When they took their "heads" off, they were all guys. It was then that my fiancee told that she had seen a video on WIRED about Bronies and what they were. Like most I was skeptical and it was mainly a source of humor for a couple of months. I gradually started seeing some of the mash-ups online, with "Inglorious Ponies" being the gateway drug. I secretly began checking out the episodes and well, the slope just got too slippery from there. lol
Needless to say, I love the show, and I've read issues #1 and #2 and I think they are just about perfect.
I will probably haunt the Star Trek and Doctor Who forums if you happen to be over there as well. _________________ ~ Chris J ~

I might as well introduce myself.
I am The Illusrtious Q. Yes, you may call me Q for short. In fact, I prefer it that way.
So far I have been driving myself insane looking for and obtaining every single cover for MLP, (just waiting on Dynamic Forces to ship, and for hot topic to arrive and I shall have everything for issue 1). And I am looking forward to many years of insanity in keeping that collection going.
Of course I am also looking forward to getting to know the IDW crowd here. |

Hello, everyone!
My name (handle, nick; whichever) is Whitewolf Stormrunner (but y'all can just call me "Wolf", if you'd like), and while I've been a MEMBER here for awhile, this is the first time that I've gotten around to posting here, and just generally saying "hey" to everyone.
As to stuff about me, I love writing and drawing, and my fave comics/fandoms are "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" and "My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic", where my fave characters are Raphael and Applejack, respectively.
Anyway, I love this forum, and hope to be around more often, now that life has settled down for me after my recent move.
I just have ONE TEENSY l'il question: how the hay do I find a pic the right size for my avatar?! I know the one that I want, but the size required is 80 x 80, so I'm having a bit of a problem finding one that the forum thingy will accept!
Or would it just be easier on me (or all the way around) to just upload a pic I like to me PhotoBucket account, and do it THAT way? _________________

Hi, everyone!
I am an intern here at IDW and I was lucky enough to help out on the first few issues of MLP. I was OBSESSED with MLP as a wee little thing, and I can't believe how adorable and fun the new series is. The comic books are just as awesome, so I am here to chat about it with all you bronies and pegasisters.
Sorry Mane 6, but Apple Bloom is my favorite filly. "Call of the Cutie Mark" and "Sisterhooves Social" are my favorite episodes <3 |

Apple Bloom from the "Family Appreciation Day" episode from Season 2 (one of MY personal faves). She was absolutely ADORABLE in that bunny outfit!

You haven't?! How come?!
Anyway, I have a bit of good news that might help, IF you're in the U.S., and have a DVD player, I just read over at Equestria Daily that Shout Factory will be releasing the MLP: FiM Season 2 Box(???) Set on May 14, 2013, and it will be available for Pre-order on Amazon.com later today (which it is SUPPOSEDLY EXCLUSIVE to). Don't know what the price is yet, but I'll put it up just as soon as I check out Amazon.
I just checked: it is up now on Amazon's MLP: FiM DVD/Movie page, and the price is $24.49 (this is WITHOUT the price of shipping. When you ADD shipping, the price is $27.47. Not BAD, really. ) _________________
