Here is how the ongoing series has sold so far:-
Issue 1 - 34803
Issue 2 - 19333
Issue 3 - 22855
Issue 4 - 22898
Issue 5 - 19689
Issue 6 - 18773
Issue 7 - 18769
Issue 8 - 18775
Issue 9 - 19116
Issue 10 - 19254
Issue 11 - 19416
I personally think this might increase once the TV show airs in the autumn.
Added to the fact that the micro series and infestation did pretty well also looks like TMNT is going to be around for a few years Lets hope the storylines stay great. _________________ TURTLE POWER! |

| I don't know much about comic sales numbers so forgive my ignorance, but how do these numbers stack up against other independent books? Does the fact that there are multiple variant covers get factored in at all? I know I pick up all three covers each month and have since about issue 3 (I don't have all the variants for 1 & 2 because there were so many). I think it's great that the book seems o be doing well and I'm hoping a new generation gets to experience the turtles in their true format. |

I do know it's IDW's top-selling title (unless there's a new #1 out, like Kiss and Mars Attacks last month). And the number in front of the sales indicates ranking - most of the top 100 tend to be take up by Marvel/DC titles, but it should give you an idea. You can also see the entire list here. I'd say TMNT definitely holds its own among indie titles. _________________

Still great numbers!
Just curious, but do they also post the numbers for the ongoing's TPB? |

They do, yeah.
You can find a complete list of comics and trades rankings here:

(Note, though, that these are Diamond sales and thus do not include overseas, direct and/or digital sales.) _________________

Awesome, thanks
I know there are those that wait until the TPB instead of buying by the issue. Usually myself included, TMNT is one of the several exceptions |
