Just saw the solicits for October... all looks well but what's up with no Dan Duncan again? I thought Kuhn was only doing 2 issues. _________________ ------------------

Are those up already? Was hoping #12 would come out first...
Unfortunately, during the production of TMNT #11, Dan let me know he wouldn't be able to continue after #12. So what was going to be a 2-issue hiatus has turned permanent. He got a new gig in the world of TV animation. Dan let me know with ample time, and with LOTS of gratitude, both for the opportunity, and for the fans. He's grown to be iconic with IDW Turtles and will be missed a lot. He knows he's welcome back, and we've discussed some exciting possibilities for the future, though they will be shorter in nature. At least for the foreseeable future.
Andy Kuhn will indeed be continuing for issues #15 and 16. Beyond that, we'll see. He's working on issue #14 now, and turning in some really great stuff. I hope folks enjoy his work as much as I do. _________________ "I've lost all the hamburgers." |

Swing low, Sweet Chariot of Animation!
Coming for to carry Dan away.
I give Mr. Duncan the parting gift of a three-fingered salute. |

Not to speak out of turn, but if you mean Ultimate Collection vol. 3, last I heard that was out on the 25th. Of July. _________________

Regarding Ult. Vol 3, Sprite's source is as good as mine!
As for other series, I couldn't tell you too much. Swiercyznski on Judge Dread should be great. I edit him over on Godzilla, as he spins quite a yarn.
My Little Pony is edited by me. Written by Katie Cook, art by Andy Price. If you're a fan of the show, or all-ages comics in general, you should hopefully enjoy it.
What else did we announce...? I dunno, I probably couldn't tell you much about it. _________________ "I've lost all the hamburgers." |

Very sad to hear about Duncan's departure, but I wish him the best,
In any case, PLEASE let either Ross Cambell or Valerio Schiti come back for the main ongoing. Both of them are fantastic artists and the Don and Leo micros were excellent.
Hell alternate between the two, they're both fantastic artists! |

No doubt that Ross and Valerio are awesome. Ross is on Glory, and I've got Valerio on Battle Beasts (which everyone is reading, right??!?!)
We'll see what will happen in the future, but Andy is definitely rocking it. _________________ "I've lost all the hamburgers." |

Definitely looking forward to Kuhn's issues! I thought his style worked perfectly for the Mikey Micro (Mike-ro?). I'm looking forward to more issues from him!
That being said, I'm currently campaigning for Mateus Santolouco, who in my mind, would be a perfect follow up to Dan Duncan since they've already shared an issue together. I'm sure you guys are already on the task of finding a permanent artist, so I'll just leave you with a couple of questions regarding Mateus. From what I've seen, he's not a native English speaker. Was this a bit of an obstacle when collaborating with him for #5? Also, is he currently committed to any ongoing projects at the moment? _________________ "Baxter, you slime puppy!" |
