That was a nice eight pages. I wasn't expecting who Prime found in the ruins of Nyon. And yeah, the Lugnut, Heavyload, and Hailstorm cameos were nice. _________________ Everything is okay to print.

Didn't see that one coming, that last page was stunning. Will be interesting to see how this ties into the upcoming annual....
Also i don't know if anyone listened to the Underbase interview with Flint Dille and Chris Metzen but wasn't it brilliant to hear a creator so enthusiastic about Transformers? Hearing him and realising how genuinely excited and passionate he is about it, along with James on MTMTE makes me completely forget the dark old days of a writer not getting TFs... |

Well I'll be I was not expecting Prime to find metroplex, that will give the autobots a fighting chance that's for sure
And as others have said it ties in nicely with the mtmte annual coming out soon
Can't believe the series is so close to ending the 8 page format for the most part has worked really well
Given the recent underbase podcast's interview with flint and chris its such a joy to hear about creators with such knowledge and enthusiasm who get what does and doesn't work in a tf stroy |

| Loved it when he said how gutted he was when he realised they'd made a couple of small continuity errors too. Cos I'd enjoyed the story i'd not let them bother me but its so good to hear an IDW writer taking continuity seriously. Again he can only get this cos he's a fan. |

And the errors are not even big ones all it contradicts is the AHM ironhide coda and spotlight blurr
Its nothing on the level of say how ongoing 1 caused huge problems with prowls character and required a spotlight and a lot of back pedaling to try and fix |

Does it make sense? No. The Orion Pax from the IDW universe makes a lot more sense as someone who would be naed a Prime.
However, personal taste-wise, I just like the idea of the clerk thrust into this militant world, such a polar opposite to both Zeta/Sentinel and to Megatron, and having to rely on experienced friends like Prowl and Jazz as his skills developed.
Like I said, I know it doesn't make much sense, but I still like it. |
I could respect that if Irvine had actually made an effort of showing the librarian hone in on those skills. But Orion didn't even eat his Spinach or nothing...And the council just voted a bot Prime who never so much as broke a nail in combat.
Hell Irvin didn't even describe Orion to us. We didn't know if he was short or tall. Red or orange. Are we to automatically believe that all of Cybertron's clerks are Hulking masses who aspire for Prime hood?
Huh...was Zeta a gardener then? _________________
