I met Larry Hama at a signing in boston today. I asked him if we might see Chimera in the ARAH series in future, he said you never know, he let's things develop as he goes and tries to include a variety of characters, it may or may not happen. For now, he's going to take the characters to San Diego with him and see what happens. I for one would love to see Chimera show up again.

On a related note, Larry is really cool guy, very laid back, and wash available to make sketches for people. I got a cool snake eyes sketch.

Red Shadows
SKAR
IRON ARMY
DR X
VENOM

well, you may get some of them. Larry said he's been trying to use a wide variety of characters, it looked like that was pretty important to him

Yeah he is pretty laid back. I chatted with him on Facebook the other day and he said now that Billy's gone he is going to bring in Sean Collins soon. I can't wait to see what he has planned for the character. Also we talked about Nth man, writing, and world travels. Really down to earth guy.

Holy smokes! That is beyond awesome! I very much enjoyed what Jerwa did with the character, and I am looking forward to seeing what Mr. Hama has in store for him.

It really seems like Hama is spending time on yojoe saying, "Oh, I never used that one!" and "Hey cool, never heard of this one!"

It's pretty neat the variety of vehicles and characters from different years we are seeing.

Chimera is IDW continuity, no ARAH. Ugh!!!

And seriously thinking of bringing Sean Collins as Kamakura. Don't get me wrong, I loved that character but it should remain an exclusive character for the disavowed continuity.

ARAH is not the book to be mixing continuities with sense I guess it is the "Holy Grail" continuity that in theory should be basis for everything else in the GI Joe continuity messed up world.

UGH to mixing continuities.

He never said anything about Kamakura... He said Sean Collins... This is Hama's verse. He doesn't even know who Kamakura is nor any of the other DDP characters.

Larry sounds like a great guy. At least that's what I keep hearing. I'd like to talk to him some day, but extremely nervous.
