John Barber has taken the interesting tact of using a central POV character in RiD this year. So far we've had Bumblebee, Starscream, Wheeljack and Prowl.

But WHO do YOU want John to use in a future issue?

Hmm...

I think Metalhawk is the most necessary at the moment. The guy's been front and center in TDOOP and RID, but we haven't really gotten inside his head much. Arcee's next on my list, as #4 has hinted at fleshing her out beyond her original Furman characterization, and that'd be great to see continue. A "day in the life" issue, perhaps centered around someone like Tappet or Zetca or that green tank guy would be cool as well.

Honestly, I'd LOVE to see pretty much anyone on that list, though.

I recall an earlier interview that the Underbase crew did with John and I recall him mentioning that he didn't have plans to do Metalhawk, but I included him here because I think by now that those plans could change, or the fans could really want it.

We know he's up to something, he's playing more of a game than Starscream if you ask me. So as much as I'm enjoying seeing the Autobots and Decepticons dealing with the ''co-op'', lets see what the head NAIL really thinks!

I went with Arcee. Id really like to see what goes on behind those optics and her true opinion of Prowl and the neutrals etc.

Given the commendable attempts Barber is making to take the hodgepodge of plots, events, and mischaracterizations of Costa's prior run and having them apply, work, and make sense to the characters as they now stand...

I voted Sideswipe because - to me - he's always been one of the under-rated cool-aft characters.

PLUS - lots of potential there, given his belligerent attitude in DoOP. Quite a bit different to what we saw of him in AHM, which was a progression from where he was in his Spotlight issue.

And, he has a new paint job. How did all those things come about?
