I know they're the most plentiful generic corpses on Cybertron, but I love Sky-Byte holding the head of a dead Sweep in light of his rivalry with his universe's version of Scourge. Besides, he's probably the second most qualified Transformer to pull off an Alas poor Yorick. _________________ Cattleprod's guide to upcoming releases.

WOW! Awesome bunch of news for TF comics from Botcon!
Great live report here!
Annuals called "Primus" - epic. Don't care of they're soft cover, actually that'll keep them affordable. Two annuals. Awesome.
July is DECEPTICON MONTH
AND
DINOBOTS MONTH! Yay!
Awesome images posted, and Andrew thanks for the links to your Sky Byte design.
First Botcon in a while that has blown me away with news about IDW's comic plans. Their news is often spread throughout the year, but the next 6-8 months are gonna be jam-packed with epic-giddyness! _________________ Twitter: @lukeabarnett

Wait? Sky-Bite is going to be part of Generation 1 universe? That's odd, but I do like crossovers. |

Cybershark was the Better name for the design but alas it didn't make it into a show/general consciousness. _________________

Okeeey that is cool... Grimlock seems to be stalking Decepticons or attack them, or... are they Autobots?
Considering it is IDW I would not be surprised if those two are autobots on the verge of getting slagged.

I think they might be the Genericons, Spin Top and Twist Twin.
Although if they are, they've got their eyes reversed... at any rate I thought it was Spin Top who had the visor and Twist Twin who had the regular eyes.
Also this:

Oh yeah - Ironhide + Dinobots rocking it in the inner depths of Cybertron!
Grimlock rocking in MTMTE - something we've been waiting for since Wreckers let him get away with just a quick mention! _________________ Twitter: @lukeabarnett

Tell me why oh why I didn't go to botcon this year? Thanks for the slides and all I can say is that this looks to be the best TF year ever! _________________ In Furman and Roberts I trust!

Telling that this combination of characters IMMEDIATELY feels right - like they've always belonged together - to me, anyways!
Also: Very interesting to see that the Dinos are being featured in RiD while Captain Gnoshy-chops Grimlock himself is split away from them into MTMTE.
Supoib opportunity there for John Barber to give the rest of Grimlock's squad some page time and development. Even after Maximum Dinobots (which I wuvs to bits) there's still a good bit of room to flesh those guys out more.
Yes... excellent news. And it'll tide me over quite nicely until IDW give us Maximum Dinobots II... (hint hint!) _________________ Check out my page on DA http://hde2009.deviantart.com/
