Umm... back to Prowl's scheme: his tracer hasn't been found, has it? Might be another clue that this particular storyline isn't over yet...

Was it not found by the Duocon before the Sparkeater killed him? Its lost again probably now

Yes, exactly. Wonder what Red Alert or Ultra Magnus would make of it if they found it?

An investigation would begin no doubt with Magnus spouting all the rules and regulations regarding this type of investigation. Laughing Laughing

You know what I'd do? I'd start the issue with Red and Magnus discussing the rules and regulations for the investigation, and then cut away to Rodders and the others investigation, every so often cutting back to Red and Magnus still outlining the rules and such. The last panel would be Magnus and Red still going on about the rules, oblivous to the fact everyone has left and so lived the mystery already.

That would be so funny. Magnus is about to start the investigation but Rodders has solved it why they were discussing the rules.

Its something James would do. So funny. Laughing Laughing Laughing

Rodimus finds it....cool! I mean that by itself is awesome. The brain module getting sucked out through the mouth...creepy! The art...still fantastic...the story...totally awesome! The humor, can't get enough of it!

Rewind: "Whoa. Two Questions. One: Are we saying he vomited up his hown brain? And two: can I please go home now?" FREAKING AWESOME and hilarious at the same time! That one truly had me LOL'ing.

I'm never going to get tired of "Shut the Hell Up" If he dies, it'll be the worst death since Optimus in the TF:TM....yes..I said it!!!

I do also love Cyclonus' quick run down of the war which I think is a great summarization of what went on all that time. Its pretty basic taking all the complications out of it. It was two sides who both wanted change to the planet but two sides who had two different opinions on how that change would take place.

Awesome issue!

I really liked how Rewind's line "can I please go home now" echoed the last line in the nursery rhyme in the beginning "run away little robot, run away home".

Especially since Rewind must be the littlest robot on the ship. Cool

Im loving the direction both series are going in. The humor in this is top notch. James you should write stand up seriously Laughing

I do have a feeling we are going to lose some of the bots we have grown attached to. Thats going to be hard on a lot of us. Rewind, Tailgate, Rung and Swerve I would say are the most popular bots in this series and Id imagine not all of them will survive. So hankies at the ready people.

Anyway thats down to James that we have grown attached to relatively minor characters but I dont think there is such thing as "minor" characters anymore. Such is James' genius.

This story does have shades of Christopher Columbas and the search for a passage to India. Rodders is Columbas, India are the Knights and Like ol Chris they will find something different. Maybe........

Top stuff though. And as I keep saying after every issue things are going to get even better. Very Happy

Meant to post this ages ago.

There used to be a poster here who went by the name 'Rossum'.

Absolutely lovely person.

I saw in this issue that there was a 'Rossum' reference. Co-incidence or little easter egg? (I have no idea if she still posts on other boards or anything)

It's most likely a reference to Rossum's Universal Robots, the play that featured the first ever usage of the word robot to describe artificial people.

Hmm, say Ratchet has Corrodia Gravis or something... wouldn't it be ironic if the only compatible donor was Drift? Laughing

I can see it now:

Ratchet: Okay, so I need a donor who's a match for my CNA type. Do we have anybody?

Drift: Mine's a perfect match!

Ratchet: Do we have anybody ELSE?

I think Ratchet is going to have more problems then that though Laughing

Just a feeling.

Wow, is it that time again already? Time for a title, a tease and a tune (or two).

MTMTE issue four comes out a week on Wednesday, and is the first of a two-part story that focuses on Ratchet and two other members of the Lost Light crew, and it sets in motion a chain of events that will lead to... something awful happening.

Part 1 is called 'Life After The Big Bang', and in it you'll find this line:

"I'm starting to think I should have stayed behind."

Just like Sesame Street was sponsored by two letters, or numbers, this issue of MTMTE is sponsored by two songs:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xYxNXj2L24s&feature=related

That's all for now, folks!

Damn, dude. That Suede song was like a formative anthem in a period of my life in the mid-90s. (As well as the soundtrack for a pivotal moment in an awful Charlie Sheen movie!)
