I'm putting my IDW Transformers comics in the read order recommended by the HC Collections for my roommate. I'm at a hold up at the end of the 6th HC. Anyone got recommendations?

I can only recommend the order in which I put my comics. It's chronological, but there are few issues. For example, it puts autocracy before Chaos theory (because parts of CT happen in the future).
Anyway:

@ 36 - Isn't that awful Avengers/TF crossover Canon/reading order to the SL Ramjet? given this was the story that put him on the run in his SL? _________________

Spotlight: Ramjet was intentionally vague about why he was on the run. Besides, I'm pretty sure Ramjet's role in that miniseries was written for Starscream, then changed when they realized he was out of action post-Infiltration. It would explain why Ramjet wasn't drawn as a conehead and suddenly had an usurper personality. _________________ Cattleprod's guide to upcoming releases.

I did wonder why Ramjet looked so odd in that Mini... _________________

That miniseries also goes to awkward lengths to point out that Optimus and Megatron don't physically confront each other, to fit in with Escalation's comments about them meeting for the first time in centuries. Ironhide and Sunstreaker are probably so conspicuously absent because they didn't want to deal with the human cast, so with them gone it places the story at the end of Escalation #1 after they left to take the humans home. _________________ Cattleprod's guide to upcoming releases.

Ironhide can be read anytime after #1 of the Ongoing and before #19, which is Space Opera part 1 (though, as above, Bludgeon recommends you read it after International Incident, which is #8-#12). Heart of Darkness should not be read, but if you insist, I think it needs to come anywhere after whichever All Hail Megatron Coda it's in and before Infestation and Chaos. Again, Bludgeon recommends you read it after #7 of the Ongoing. _________________

The Final issue of Heart of Darkness has the "Road to Chaos" label at the top. The first "ongoing" issue with that label is #19. Doesn't that change the order listed on Bludgeon's post?

No, because Heart of Darkness is terrible and should never be read by anyone ever. _________________

Ummm. Sorry but Infestation 2 takes place in the "Evolutions" continuity, not the main continuity. Leaving me to question your timeline.

I think it's meant to be the two TPBs the original Infestation crossover was collected in, though the Transformers' role in volume 2 is limited to one panel in the recap.
The sequel crossover is always called Infestation 2 (or that variant where one of the letters is a 2, I can't remember which one), never Infestation vol. 2. _________________ Cattleprod's guide to upcoming releases.
