So I was browsing on Amazon today and found this:

I'm currently collecting the 'The Ultimate Collection' and I was wondering what's the difference between them (besides one being hard cover)??

Then is it safe to say that Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Classics Volume 1 IS the ultimate collection?? I mean, is it just the issues that are missing in the Ultimate Collection or EVERYTHING?

As far as I know, Its just the issues not in the UC

The Classics only collect the stories not done by Eastman and Laird.

Does anybody know about the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Micro Series Volume 1? What are the micro series about? Are they classic, miscellaneous mini comics?

A collection, you mean? You have a link?

They'd either be collecting the old micro-series (that's a series of one-shots, featuring each of the main characters respectively) or the new micro-series (ditto).

It's a collection taking preorders on Amazon right now. It's collecting the 4 IDW micro-series.

The micro-series are 1 issue "series" (kind of a play on a limited miniseries; hence a "series" can't get any shorter than a single issue). Each turtle had their own 1 issue micro-series in Mirage and now, IDW.

Yup, that's a collection of the IDW microseries; the original four Mirage ones are being released in the first two Ultimate Collection volumes.

So it says volume 1 contains Mirage Studios' issues #13, 16, and 18. Which means they are breaking up the Mark Martin story which I think is a bad idea.
