Graham Cracker comics of Illinois sent out their list of books coming out the 16th and it did NOT include the TMNT hardcover.

As for Volume 2 I thought it was coming in early 2012 now.

Yet Amazon still hasn't updated their release and delivery dates. I hope they get the book to me soon... If after a week they haven't sent it, I'll hopefully pick up a copy from my LCS when picking up issue 4 and then cancel with Amazon.

Edit: Just got this response from Amazon:

"Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Ultimate Collection, Vol. 1 " hasn't been released yet and the expected release date is not known. We'll make sure to update our website listing when we know more.

Apparently IDW hasn't done their part in keeping in touch with this retailer. Are you guys even gonna send the books to them on time? A whole bunch of us ordered from them, y'know...

IDW does not distribute it's books directly to retailers, there are middlemen who are sourced for that.
When Amazon is lax with it's books, they always blame their suppliers, not the publishers. I believe that not too long ago they actually switched their suppliers, and THAT was when they started being terrible at getting books on time. I would recommend using a different online store for books than Amazon, as myself and a good number of friends and associates have become so frustrated with the poor service on their part that it's become a no-brainer to do so.

Edit; I should also say that I am very excited to recieve this book as and when it starts to ship. I've waited this long, I think the onlything that could annoy me now is if it were suddenly cancelled.

Well damn. I like Amazon's prices on books, but if their supplier's really that bad on getting in new releases, I may have to switch.

I'll give it a week or two. I'm kinda low on money right now anyway, so I'll accept a later charge—but if after a couple weeks it's not getting ready to ship, I think I'll cancel.
