Colorray, no worries... repeats deleted!

As for Ultimate and other types of collections, I think we should be able to go into some degree of detail on that soon... possibly around San Diego Comic Con. I think most people are going to be pleased with the approach.

Speaking of SDCC, anyone who is there will be able to get a free mini-comic that has preview pages from our first issue, an interview with all the creators, and some other fun stuff. So come by the IDW booth if you're there!

Have our posts on the various approaches to the Ultimate Collections been taken into account when making decisions on how to go about the process?

The short answer is yes. However, as there are many different opinions on how the Ultimate Collections should be, so someone will most likely be a little disappointed.

But I think overall people will be very pleased. More info to come.

Assuming most of the classic Mirage stuff gets collected, will IDW go onward with collected editions of the TMNT comics that were published by Image and Archie comics? Lots of fans would love to see those collected too, although of course the Mirage material should be a priority first.

Yes, we'd like to reprint as much as possible, including the Image and Archie stuff. But you've hit the nail on the head... Mirage stuff will come first, and we'll see how much interest the market supports.

IDW should consider polling the community-at-large starting with us, the core Turtle fandom, then the more "casual" (to Indies) comic crowd like over on CBR, Newsarama, Bleedingcool, etc. and see what stories we ALL really would like to see collected.

I feel the vast majority would like to see "Return to New York" and "City at War" collected, but what next? The rest of Volume 1, while good, may not click with the more casual reader quite like those of us who love the Turtles.

Volumes 2 and 3 could easily be 2- and 3-book collections (respectively), along with various "Tales of the TMNT" collections like Soul's Winter and another Shell Shock anthology collection coming later.

I don't know, I'm not in the accounting dept. but I'd just love to see the best of the Turtles collected before the mediocre because introducing a mediocre collection between awesome stories could hamper, or kill, the chances of getting the rest of the best.

Personally, I think seeing other books collected in omnibus format (like what IDW have been doing already) for the stuff outside of the hardcovers. Heck, I'd even double dip the original stuff if it was collected in omnibus format. Vol. 2 would work perfectly that way, maybe with the Donatello "Brain Thief" mini in there and the other "Volume 2 era" Tales issues would make a perfect omnibus.

Volume 4 could be broken up into a couple of books (again with the appropriate Tales issues inserted where necessary).

Hi a number of TMNT comics were reprinted in color. Just wondering if we will ever see those versions of the comics reprinted again?

No immediate plans for this.

Good, because that would just be redundant.
