So, I've been sitting on the idea of submitting art to IDW in lieu of the Godzilla comic. I've done artwork for G-Fan magazine and would love a chance to venture into new avenues. Comments are always welcome.
This is a painting I did for G-Fan magazine that eventually became a cover.
A pinup of King Caesar:
A pinup of MechaGodzilla:
Some sequential art black and whites feating a big dinosaur guy:
The cover for the above sequential with no title:
More to come soon. Hope you enjoy![/img] _________________ TS |

Amazing job. Is there a story behind those one comic panels and the painting you did with the long neck creature? Hope to see more! _________________ "You will give the people an ideal to strive towards. They will race behind you, they will stumble, they will fall. But in time, they will join you in the sun. Very impressive, especially Mechagodzilla. I like the original kaiju as well!
The look on that monster's face before he gets blown to bits is priceless. |

Yeah, there actually is. It's an older project and there wasn't a lot of people who were interested. Go to www.durontus.com for more images and stuff. Basically you can only go so far before there are copyright issues with Godzilla, so I had to take a new route. _________________ TS |

WOW I read your bio and story and i love it. I really like the designs for the monsters also and the picture of him fighting godzilla. If you ever do more comics let me know! _________________ "You will give the people an ideal to strive towards. They will race behind you, they will stumble, they will fall. Here are some more images of Godzilla related stuff by me.
Anguirus painting:
Hedorah Ink:
Gamera Ink: (sorry it's so big)
Page 3 of Durontus Attacks sequential
Lava Monster Concept:
Thanks, I hope you like them. I've got plenty more. On a side note, I did submit to IDW even though they already have a full creative team. Maybe they will consider me for a cover in the future or something. I guess it doesn't hurt to try. _________________ TS |
