I didn't expect Foundation to be about the Cybertronian era since the cover had Megatron in his tank mode. I like Optimus Prme's RiD/Cybertron look with his red and blue chest plate. I also like the inclusion of Sentinel Prime now that IDW can use the new movie characters. Hopefully, the comic will do what it's suppose to and provide a new foundation for the movie continuity.

I agree with you on the coloring part. Why couldn't the Cybertronian Optimus Prime toy be so colorful?

My LCS didn't get this issue in. Crying or Very sad Comics delivery's been wonky for months now for some reason (I haven't even got the Drift trade yet!) and they keep messing up... I hope it gets in at a later date, I really wanted to read this (and especially now that I've read Rising Storm, which is really good).

I'm glad I go to school in Pasadena, next to the Comic Factory, which always gets new stuff every week. I bet my comic shop's Wednesdays are crazy due to the fact that it's next to a school.

Heh, Redwolf over at the Allspark noticed this:

Anybody notice the whole 17 dimensions line of Wheeljack transporting the sun?

Sam's rant during his class in ROTF:
Quote:
I just finished your book and there's only one problem. Einstein's wrong.
Energy does equal mass times the velocity of light squared in this dimension, but what about the other 17? We haven't even talked about the other 17. Clear example. Break down the elemental components of Energon, assume a constant decay rate and extrapolate for each of the... Fourteen galactic convergences it took the Sentinel Prime expedition to receive an... Echo on its signal, you wind up with a formula for inter-dimensional energy increase that mass and light alone can't possibly explain.

MAJOR kudos. ;D

All I know is that Barber has definitely done his research, I don't doubt that he was aware of that connection when he wrote this issue. Ok, back to work for me...

I hope Barber will keep me happy since one of the very best movie comic so far. Now, I want to see Shockwave in action. That way, when the movie comes out, Optimus and his crew will already know Shockwave. There's no need to waste movie time by having characters introduce themselves. The last movie was long enough.

But Foundation doesn't have the beauty of, oh say, War for Cybertron. Yet, I hope Foundation won't try to rehash any of the other pre-earth Transformer stories by having Megatron try to kill Sentinel.

Well unlike other pre-earth stories we know that Megs DOESN'T kill Sentinel Prime, looks like, instead, he pulls a Nova Prime and takes a crew off looking for Energon.

WTF?!
I never did figure out what the heck he said... thanks for this.

AND

OMG... changes my mind on a few things in Foundation. Not that I'm not already really happy with it to begin with. Food for thought, I shall now contemplate...

And finally got around to putting a review of it on Tformers.com

Cool
